چکیده مقاله
In order to develop and improve the electrochemical sensors toward heavy metals detection due to their considerable risks on human health, this study reports a sensitive platform based on silver nanoparticles/graphene nanoplates modified graphite electrode (AgNPs/GrNPs/GE) for simultaneous and selective voltammetric determination of trace Cd (II), Cu (II) and Pb (II) in tap water. The as-prepared graphite electrodes were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) experiments. In addition, square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) technique was also performed to detect the mentioned cations at the surface of the AgNPs/GrNPs/GE. Upon the optimal conditions, the detection limit of the proposed electrochemical sensor using the AgNPs/GrNPs/GE toward Cd (II), Cu (II) and Pb (II) was calculated and found to be 5.0, 4.1 and 1.0 ng L-1, respectively. Also, the electrode could detect Zn (II) and Hg (II), typically at −1.13 and + 0.05 V, respectively. The results showed that the proposed electrochemical sensor possesses excellent practical applicability, reproducibility and stability in heavy metal ions detection.
