چکیده مقاله:
Low carbon steels are the most widely used engineering materials in modern civilization due to their availability, economic advantages and irreplaceable mechanical properties and are widely used in industrial applications. The advanced mechanical properties of these steels make it an ideal material for a variety of applications such as vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery, ships, where components are exposed to external conditions [1]. By operating in such environments, corrosion of steel and its natural protection becomes an important issue because factors such as air pollution and proximity to marine conditions can accelerate this phenomenon [2]. There are several methods currently available to minimize corrosion of steel surfaces, mainly based on the use of a barrier layer between the surface and the surrounding environment [3]. This barrier layer can be a protective oxide layer [4]. There are several methods that have been developed to form protective oxides on steels such as thermal, chemical and electrochemical oxidation [5]. The magnetite coating formed by the anodizing process acts as a dense barrier film and can prevent or minimize corrosion on the steel surface [6_9].
