| Chemical inhibitors play an important role in industry.Such as acid washing, oil and gas extraction in oil and petrochemical industries, heat exchangers, municipal water network and so on. They increase the service life of devices and prevent corrosion of metals. Inhibitors are classified according to the operating environment such as atmospheric, acidic electrolyte, neutral, etc. Acidic inhibitors along with acids are used in cleaning oxides from metal surfaces and in cleaning sediments from heat transfer surfaces in heat exchangers.Organic inhibitors are often used in acid electrolytes. In these environments, the film phase is not stable and to reduce the corrosion rate, the cathodic reaction rate must be reduced. Organic inhibitors are classified as: anodic, cathodic and mixed. It is simpler and cheaper than some metal corrosion protection methods. Therefore, corrosion prevention is an important issue, one of which is the use of inhibitors.
