چکیده مقاله:
Carbon cloth fibers (CFs) are attractive materials for using as a supercapacitor electrode due to low cost, high surface area, chemical stability, flexibility and high electrical conductivity. In this research work, a bi-layer structure of polyaniline coated carbon cloth fibers decorated with polyaniline@graphene oxide using in situ chemical polymerization is fabricated to achieve more efficient supercapacitor electrode having excellent electrochemical properties. The properties of all materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), UV-Vis spectra, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The electrochemical performance of the composites was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge-discharge (CP), and the impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The specific capacity of 420 F g−1was obtained for PANI coated Carbon cloth fibers decorated with Polyaniline/Graphene oxide nanocomposite at current density of 1 A g-1 in comparison with 361 F g−1 for Polyaniline/Graphene oxide. Value of specific capacity remained at 81% after 1000 cycles.
