چکیده مقاله |
Introduction: The textile and dyeing industry, which is one of the largest and most complex industrial chains in the production sector, is very complex in terms of quality parameters and has a significant volume of pollutants in terms of quantity. The use of dyes in the textile and dyeing process causes the amount of dye in sewage to be very high. In addition, the presence of toxic compounds with very low chemical degradability are also among the most important factors that should be considered in the design and implementation of textile wastewater treatment and dyeing systems. The entry of this wastewater into the environment has irreversible effects on the environment. The present study is an attempt to reduce the concentration and harmful effects of reactive blue 21 textile in aqueous media using Ferrate. The last two decades have witnessed the rapid development and widespread use of the Ferrate in the field of water pollution due to its environmental characteristics. Ferrate has been used primarily as a highly effective oxidant / disinfectant for selective removal of contaminants [1]. Materials and Methods: Euphrates were electrochemically synthesized by a power supply with iron electrodes in a solution of potassium hydroxide at 65 ° C and then used to remove the reactive dye Blue B21 in the batch removal system, as well as factors affecting the removal process such as concentration. Initial color, pH and contact time were evaluated to achieve optimal removal conditions [2]. Results: Preliminary results obtained using electrochemically synthesized Euphrates show that the maximum reactive removal rate of Blue 21 reached 92% only 15 minutes after the start of the removal process (time = 45 minutes, pH = 2, ferrate dose = 2 mg, Initial concentration of reactive blue 21 = 50 ppm) |
