چکیده مقاله
High calorific and pure hydrogen can be a good alternative to fossil fuels. The production of hydrogen from water splitting is an effective and environmental friendly way to produce clean energy. However, breaking water bonds and converting them to hydrogen and oxygen requires high activation energy and the need to design effective electrocatalysts that can reduce this activation energy, seems necessary [1]. Inexpensive, active and efficient electrocatalysts, particularly transition metal-based compounds, had been considerably studied for effective water splitting [2]. Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) are a class of three-dimensional metal- organic frameworks composed of various transition metal cations and cross-linked cyanide ligands with a cubic structure [3]. In the present study, the nanocomposite structure, PBA/ZIF-67, on glassy carbon as working electrode was synthesized by simple electrodeposition through cyclic voltammetry method. electrocatalytic performance for OER in alkaline media tested, in addition, the synthesized structure was characterized by a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
