چکیده مقاله:
Molecular hydrogen is a promising clean, secure and renewable energy source with high energy density compared to fossil fuels. As a green approach to render clean energy carrier, water splitting has been well-recognized. The main goal is finding efficient catalysts to reduction the high potential and interia from both thermodynamic and kinetics aspects. Recently, transition metals Co, Ni, Zr- based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), demonstrated as proper and low-cost structures for water splitting. In addition of high mechanical strength, large surface area and active sites, low electrical conductivity is one of their disadvantages. To solve this problem, MOFs can be composited with carbonaceous materials in a relatively simpler manner, which can improve charge separation and reduce the bandgap. In this study, solvothermally fabricated MOF808/CNTs were employed for oxygen evolution reaction(OER) in alkaline media. The results showed that the presence of CNTs improved charge transfer. Although, the onset
potential of MOF808/CNTs was lower than pristine samples
