چکیده مقاله
Adenine, whose current concentrations are considered an important parameter for the diagnosis of various diseases, also plays a key role in the storage of genetic information. Thus, accurate and sensitive determination of deoxyribonucleic acids is of great importance for clinical diagnosis. Therefore, sensitive determination of adenine indicates relevance in clinical diagnosis [1]. Different methods including HPLC [2], capillary electrophoresis [3] and electrophoresis combined have been introduced for the determination of adenine. Compared with other methods, electrochemical techniques are widely used due to their sensitivity, rapidity, simplicity, and low cost. Therefore, in this study, a novel voltammetric sensing platform based on the combination of modified copper oxide nanoparticles and chicken feet yellow membrane (CuO/CFYM) was constructed for the determination of adenine. A carbon paste electrode (CPE) was firstly modified with CFYM then electrosynthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles was performed on modified CPE (CuO/CFYM/CPE). The characterization of CuO/CFYM was carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopies. The voltammetric sensor behaviors of adenine were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and amperometric method in phosphate buffer (pH 6.0). Under the optimized conditions, amperometric responses were linearly increased in the concentration ranges from 5.0 to 320.0 μM for the determination of adenine with the limit of detections (LODs) as 2.96 μM. Furthermore, the biosensor showed high sensitivity, good selectivity, good reproducibility, and long-term stability to adenine detection.
